The Cowboy Blend received a 91 point score as a filter coffee and a 92 point score as an espresso, by coffee expert Kenneth Davids!

With both dark and medium-roasted coffees, our Cowboy Blend is a flavorful coffee made to replicate the bold, delicious taste of coffee brewed by cowboys working on the Western Frontier. To reflect its flavors, this blend contains notes of cocoa, caramel, vanilla, and a hint of aromatic herbs.

Here is what Kenneth Davids said about the Cowboy Blend: 

For filter:

Bold, deep-toned. Baking chocolate, Brazil nut, date, lily, lemon zest in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; crisp, velvety mouthfeel. Finish consolidates to notes of Brazil nut and lemon zest. 

For espresso:

Richly sweet and nut-toned. Hazelnut butter, dark chocolate, roasted date, gently scorched cedar, molasses in aroma, and a small cup. Lightly satiny mouthfeel; finish is gently drying but balanced, carrying through notes of chocolate and nut. In cappuccino format, milk transforms the chocolate into a fudge-like note and rounds the fruit toward soft caramel.
